Hey CCP. Your game is broken. How about you fix it before asking us to do your publicity for you. Now I know that no real CCP people will ever read this thread - because you do not care about your player base and have settled into a cycle of only listening to the yes men in your ranks and rationalising away any dissenters Hencewith I am comfortable posting the following:
EVE Online is F U C K I N G BROKEN Fix it before you do anything else God Dammit your company is ******ed

heh I would rank my own attempt at making a 2d version of tetris in c++ a better game release this year than eve online.
The sad thing is zymurgist wont take any of this onboard cause it will spoil his thread. He will fail to pass any of the views expressed in this thread to his group leaders at CCP. Then CCP will hijack every IP address in iceland and mass vote for eve online(its a matter of national security). Then they will still lose out in the popular vote.
If only they had fixed the lag caused by Dominion before they released Tyrannis - then the player base would be supportive of their little pr stunts. Oh my mistake Dominion didnt cause lag it is a whole collection of small issues that CCP are attempting to resolve.

Well I'm bored doing the dumbest thing I've ever done in eve. So I'm just going to post a bump post in this thread - beacuse it is the most accurate portrayl of feeling regarding eveonline in this section of the forum.

And another post deleted. Would be nice to see reasons for post deletion, or is it simply a case of silence the dissenters?
hmm maybe I'm off topic - oh I know, Your dreaming if you want me to vote for this terrible expansion as european game of the year

I have posted 10 times in this thread - each time saying a variation of the same thing: lol you want us to help your marketing for a broken game? Give up the ghost ccp, concentrate on your core business and reconnect with your sutomer base.
each time I recheck thread my posts have magically disappeared.
Perhaps you could read up the page a little where other people have noticed the same thing...

Ok I have checked into your posts
http://eve-search.com/thread/1360067/author/Jita_Alt666
I see one thread cleaned by admins. If after they cleaned it, you then reposted it, they would be within their rights to delete it without additional warnings. There are many posts within this massive thread which contain strong and angry language which persist. I would say that I think you are either exaggerating, or purposely attempting to incite with your posts.
Please understand that I am not attempting to attacking you, although I recognize it may come across that way. I also see you edited a previous post which now swears at CCP, and is a violation. F
If you have something constructive to share, please do so.
Yes there are many people who have posted in this thread expressing their distaste for Eve Online in its current state and the audacity of the company to ask for us to support them in achieving international honours.
This thread has been linked in 3 outside eve media resources in the last 72 hours. That fact makes this thread an opportunity to incite CCP into response because the result of their response will be seen by the wider gaming community and not simply their own subscribers.
There is a huge number of people unhappy with eve online in its current state. Until CCP satisfy us that they are constructively attempting to resolve the issues - expect to see less than positive responses on these boards.
btw: posting a blog saying "Were trying to fix lag" is NOT constructively attempting to resolve the lag issue.

You're posting too much. You have the last post in nearly every thread on the first page.
That my friend is the goal.

Dear CCP.
Please post results of the inaugural European Game of the Year Competition on your front page. Actually post a direct link in the little box on login screen.
Thank you for your transparency.

Ok, more seriously, it is not so easy to leave when you made some good connections with players of your corporation, etc... It requires time. I will probably leave within the next 3 months, but as always, it is not certain. At least, I already reduced the number of accounts I have in Eve, and I discourage friends and contacts to go into Eve.
Also, we saw that Eve can be correct, with Apocrypha. So there was hope that CCP could correct it. But time passes and there is still no correction of this issue, nor about the issues who can be corrected within minutes like Rockets, and the "18 months" information is not a good news. This is why I didn't vote for Eve.
CCP should change a few their development tactic. At least, for balancing and lag issues. Small patches to correct rockets, to upgrade shield or anything like this could be a great improvement. The big expansion tactic can stay but is annoying for this, as you have to wait and hope, and because of this tactic, CCP has no will to correct balancing issues as they prefer add new "features".
I have no argument with anything you're saying, my argument is with the "I'm paying for this game but i'm so upset and angst ridden that it isn't flawless that I'm going to cry and stamp my feet and weep like a child and rend my hair and hold my breath until I'm sick" crowd. The game isn't perfect. No game is. It's being worked on (slowly, admittedly, but it is what it is).
I never want to see any game I'm playing lose subscriptions but given the amount of pathetically emo-nonsense posted here - by people who CONTINUE to pay for what they call a substandard product - I'm constantly curious as to why they stay. If a game made me cry as much as some of the posters, I absolutely would not continue to pay the publishers (thereby tacitly showing your support for them).
But, whatever. Each to their own, I guess.
I simply pay for the game by ripping off new players This allows me to do two things: 1. Lower the tone and content of systems I inhabit and the boards I frequent for free (in other words decreasing the quality of the player experience for others - butterfly effect) 2. Ensure that I am doing my part actively to ensure that CCP's endevours in creating new content to attract new players are being somewhat blunted by killing off new players.
CCP are too dumb to realize that the 300mil a month I trade in for a plex (that some one else has paid rl money for) means there are 2 possibly 3 new accounts that have left eve with a sour taste in their mouths.

The irony in posting that picture is that the simpson's is a tried and true show that spent decades refining and perfecting content to the point where a simple ha-ha with a boy point is a universally recognised symbol of Nelson laughing at others misfortune.
The only tried and true content from CCP is lag.

Oh no your logic has caused the melding of Justin and I. I didnt even give him a reach around - let him feel the emotions of a 0.0 Eve Online pilot.

not exactly, shouldn't try and post from a blackberry
Didn't CCP try to make an eve client for the blackberry? Oh thats right they realised it was infeasible and rolled back development. Maybe they should keep following that precedent so threads like this get locked for inactivity rather than staying at top of boards.

Nice to see an 80+ page thread regarding the terrible state of eve online is still near the top of page one. Just had a petition rejected due to: You were dead before that screenshot - your client was just lagged. Screenshot was a of a t2 fit drake at 30% shields on an undock being shot by 2 battleships.
In my mind thats a simple declaration from a GM that pvp has been reduced to pure lottery.

This thread is suffering from the same malaise as the popular internet MMO, Eve Online. A lack of internal improvement and a lose of touch with the general playerbase.

If you really want "all", that would require a lot of meanwhile canceled subs to be reactivated. Doubt it is gonna happen considering the current state of the game in parts of New Eden (Opposed to what some ppl think, Jita ain't the only system that counts... ). Although, to be fair, the lag and game mechanics issues haven'T affected forum functionality... yet...
Just FYI, the lag they're talking about is due to people not filling the fleet fight notification form (look further in that post). These days it looks cool to blame CCP for everything, everybody want to look cool so they whine.
Every player that unsuscribes is a step towards a lag and idiot free EVE.
Stay ignorant Camios: CCP have made the sov mechanics utilise timers as low as two hours. CCP need 24 hours to (pre dt warning )that a node needs to be reinforced.
If an alliance doesnt know theres going to be a fight 11 hours after DT until 9 hours after DT how are they meant to tell CCP to reinforce the node 2 hours before DT?
It's popular to write off the high proportion of the eve online player base who through frustration voice concerns regarding the current starte of eve. If you are going to do so at least be informed of the mechanics enough to not be 100% incorrect.

It would be nice to have a better understanding of what will be new or changed w/PI.
If PI is an expansion anything like FactionWar then expect no updates or fixes at all.
Fortunately CCP tied PI into pos production and fueling. That means if PI falls over POS holding and functioning will suffer. That would severly distort the economy across the entire game. That means PI will be tinkered with until it functions at a level that keeps 51% of players happy.
If CCP's major game designers had any sense they would tie the incusions features (up coming pirate faction fleets) with faction warfare. Hence expect faction warfare to die a slow death and expect ccp to fade it out in 24 months claiming eve players had voted with their feet and faction warfare just was not popular to sustain.
